THE SERIES: Since 1999, Ian Bell's Brown Derby Series has presented "Ridiculously Staged Readings of Your Favorite Screenplays", becoming a Seattle comedy institution with a cult following!  Under-rehearsed and equipped with cardboard props, questionable wigs and plenty of silly string, Director Ian Bell teams up with Seattle's funniest actors to put their warped spin on classic Hollywood screenplays.

THE SHOW: "TOP GUN" The classic 1986 screeplay about young cocky military students (who are NOT GAY) at the United States Navy's elite fighter weapons school who compete to be best (NOT the GAYEST) in the class, one daring (and DEFINITELY NOT GAY) young pilot learns a few (NON-HOMOEROTIC) things that are not taught in the classroom... like how to oil up your chest before playing volleyball. (and there's NOTHING gay about that).
