THE SERIES: Since 1999, Ian Bell's Brown Derby Series has presented "Ridiculously Staged Readings of Your Favorite Screenplays", becoming a Seattle comedy institution with a cult following!  Under-rehearsed and equipped with cardboard props, questionable wigs and plenty of silly string, Director Ian Bell teams up with Seattle's funniest actors to put their warped spin on classic Hollywood screenplays.

THE SHOW: Once again, The BROWN DERBY tangos with the temporal paradox, this time with "T2 / TERMINATOR 2: Judgement Day". 26 years ago T2 was set ten years later from the first film's time frame which was actually only seven years prior. As in the past, a robot/assasin from the future is sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor and her son John so John will have no future, but the John of the future also sends back in time a robot to protect the John and Sarah of the present that looks just like the robot that came from the future, in the past. If that sounds confusing, just try figuring ho to make an actor into a shape-shifting liquid metal robot on stage!
