THE SHOW: The 1973 theatrical trailer warns  "Something beyond comprehension is happening to a girl on this street, in this house . ." The Brown Derby's version of THE EXORCIST will no doubt live up to that same sense of incomprehension as the BROWN DERBY PLAYERS attempt to recreate the tense drama and chilling special effects... while inserting jokes and holding a script in one hand. Keeping to this season's theme of "Angry Beasts", THE EXORCIST is kind of like "Beauty And The Beast" (the show we did in June), except this time its the girl saying "Be Our Guest", and the Beast is, well... THE beast!  Just in time for the Halloween season - DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

THE SERIES: Since 1999, Ian Bell's Brown Derby Series has presented "Ridiculously Staged Readings of Your Favorite Screenplays", becoming a Seattle comedy institution with a cult following!  Under-rehearsed and equipped with cardboard props, questionable wigs and plenty of silly string, Director Ian Bell teams up with Seattle's funniest actors to put their warped spin on classic Hollywood screenplays.
